浅間神社にて稚児の舞が行われます。
山梨県の指定無形文化財に登録されており、小学生の女の子達が舞う伝統舞踊です。
1,200年以上前に富士山大噴火が起こった際に尽力された神様のために始まった
とされています。

私も今回初めて見に行ってきます☆晴れるといいな～ 😀

“Chigonomai” will be held in Sengen shrine this weekend.
It is a traditional dance from Kawaguchiko town.
Mostly participated by girls ages from 7 to 12 years old.
It is registered as an intangible cultural asset in Yamanashi Prefecture.
The dance was originated 1,200 years ago.
When Mt.Fuji erupted, Got saved the people and removed the fire.
Since then, every year the girls offers their dance to the God.

I’m going to go there for the first time.
I hope it will be fine.
